What we collect
The account holder's name and mobile number, and the biodata you choose to fill in: personal, family, education, career and horoscope details, and photos.
Who can see it
- Your profile is visible only to logged-in members, and only after the samaj admin approves it.
- Your contact mobile number is shown to another member only after an interest is accepted by both sides.
- Messages are end-to-end encrypted: they are locked in your browser and can be opened only by you and the family you are talking to. Our server stores them only in locked form, so even the samaj admin cannot read them. We can still see that two families exchanged messages, and when.
- Samaj admins can see profiles and account details in order to verify them.
OTP verification
To confirm that a mobile number belongs to you, a one-time code is sent by SMS through Google Firebase Authentication. For this, the mobile number is shared with Google, and Google may use reCAPTCHA to prevent misuse.
Profile visits
When an approved member opens your profile, you can see that they viewed it, and they can see the same about you.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share member information with advertisers or other third parties. Birth details entered in the free Kundli Milan tool are not saved.
Deleting your information
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. This permanently removes your profile, photos, interests and messages.
